Creative Arts Update . . .

We’ve hit the ground running in 2025!

Since the start of the year in worship, the Celebration Voices, Sounds of Grace Handbells and the Puppet Praise Team have all enriched our worship with their gifts.

The Celebration Voices are now seated in chairs each Sunday to lead the congregational singing, which has been appreciated by many.  There are plenty of chairs available for more singers!

I attended the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians (ALCM) Composer’s Symposium in Fort Wayne, IN, February 26 to March 1.

The Symposium was a great event for finding new music, meeting successful Lutheran composers (some of whom have hymns and songs in the ELC and ACS) and church musicians, and gaining inspiration for       continuing to compose music for Salem.

Thank you all for your support and participation in creative arts activities. Hope to see you soon!
